“We can’t know why the lily has so brief

a time to bloom in the warmth of

sunlight’s kiss upon its face before it folds

into its fragrance and bids the world good

night to rest its beauty in a gentler place.

But we can know that nothing that is loved

is ever lost, and on one who has ever

touched a heart can really pass away

because some beauty lingers on in each

memory of which they’ve been a part.”

Ellen Brenneman

We all have been touched by loss in our life. If we love, we will one day know sorrow. To love is to grieve.

Loss has been a part of my journey. But it has also shown me what is precious. So has a love for which I can only be grateful.
My beautiful youngest son was escorted from our arms to heaven’s gate 26 years ago today. I love you forever my beloved baby boy + my forever love to all my sons. I miss you everyday, Winston!

My heart has been pierced for Heaven. Heaven is real, real enough to suffer for, real enough to inspire hope and perseverance, real enough to lead with love.

My heart is with you as you grieve your beloved. 💚
