Monday Morning Prayer
Heavenly Father, in this season of Thanksgiving, we lift up all who are grieving the loss of a loved one. As they face as empty seat at the table and memories that flood their hearts, we ask that You surround them with Your loving presence.
Be their rock and their refuge, O Lord. Help them to cast their cares upon You and find rest in Your presence, knowing that You are close to the brokenhearted. Grant them the strength to face each moment, each hour, each day.
In the midst of sorrow, may they find small glimmers of light and gentle moments of peace. Guide them step by step along the path of healing and let each new day bring a renewed sense of hope.
We pray for Your peace to fill their hearts and for them to feel Your presence carrying them. Thank You for Your promises to be with us, to hear our cries and to comfort our hurting hearts.
In Your precious name, we pray. Amen.
