Monday Morning Prayer

Monday Morning Prayer

Dear God,

As the winter air grows cold,
I ask for Your love to gently cover those
whose hearts are hurting.
For those feeling the weight of this season
– quiet, heavy and lonely –
wrap them in Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
~ Philippians 4:7

When the silence feels overwhelming,
remind them that You are with them in the stillness. You are the God who promises,
I will never leave you nor forsake you.
~ Hebrews 13:5

Guide them through their sorrow.
Help them rest when they’re weary and give them strength when they feel weak. You are near to the brokenhearted and saving those crushed in spirit.
~ Psalm 34:18

Like the promise of spring hidden
beneath the snow, bring a quiet hope to their hearts. May they feel Your presence holding them close through every long night and may they know that they are loved, seen and never alone.
~ Isaiah 41:10

In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
