Monday Prayer
God is our refuge and strength.
A very present help in trouble.
~ Psalm 46:1
Father God, we come before you with heavy hearts grieving the assassination attempt that has gripped our nation. We lift up in prayer Mr. Corey Comperatore who lost his life heroically shielding his wife and daughters from harm. We pray for the recovery of the two men critically injured and their families. We pray for President Trump who was protected by divine providence and we pray for the protection of his family. We pray for the healing of our nation. Grant us the strength to stand together one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. May we be instruments of your peace, shining your light. We pray for unity in faith, peace and love for the United States of America. Father, I choose to trust you to heal our land.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
