A Holiday Pact

I realized i have not been on here for a

while as i’ve been spending time with family.

I hope you’ve been well.

Wishing you a gentle + peaceful holiday season.

In grief, every day is hard. Some days are more difficult than others. The holidays can be especially challenging.

A holiday pact for those who are grieving is a personal commitment to navigate the holiday season with compassion toward yourself while honoring the memory of your loved one.

✨ Acknowledge that you have the right to mourn.

✨ Allow space for grief while finding ways to incorporate some joyous traditions.

✨ Recognize that you have the right to feel what you feel.

✨ Realize that it’s okay to not feel “merry and bright.”

✨ Accept that you have the right to decide how you want to spend the holidays.

✨ Commit to communicate openly about your feelings, expectations and needs.

✨ Be mindful, intentional and prioritize self-compassion, self-love.

My wish for you this holiday season is to find moments of grace, hope and joy. From my heart to yours. 💚
