* Grief is not exclusively associated with the death of a loved one. It’s a universal response to any loss, whether it’s a death, a job, a relationship, a dream or even a change in circumstances.
* Grief is the natural human reaction to loss and can manifest in various ways, impacting emotional, physical and mental well-being.
* The only cure for grief, is to grieve. Acknowledging grief is the necessary path to healing. Embrace the feelings. We can mask it with a thousand things and yet we still need to grieve.
* We aren’t the same person since the loss. Truth is, we will never be the same person. The loss can leave a lasting imprint on one’s life. Loss transforms us.
* Surround yourself with people who make you feel seen, heard, safe, valued and supported.
