Grief is not linear

Grief Is Not Linear

Grief Is Not Linear
Grief does not conform to a clear linear path of ‘moving forward.’ It’s raw, it’s difficult and a path that can be unpredictable.
Our society will give you weeks, months or maybe even a year to grieve. They see grief as a straight line, with a beginning, middle and end. But it is not linear.
Grief is something that we will all experience. There is no set timeline, no guide and it is very personal.
The grieving process is not linear.
