How to comfort grieving parents.
* Call & be present with them.
* Call their child by name.
* Encourage the parents to share their feelings, stories & memories.
* Share your own memories of the child and/or pregnancy.
* Remember the Dad. He is often forgotten, but he is grieving too.
It is hard to know what to do or say to a family member or friend whose child has died.
Do people fail to show up because they don’t know what to say or afraid to say the wrong thing?
In grief there are no right words. How to comfort those who are grieving?
Show up, listen and be present to all those suffering from a loss.
