On Memorial Day, we pause. Not to celebrate, but to remember and honor.
To every fallen soldier,
we remember you,
we honor you.
we remember and honor your ultimate sacrifice you fought for so bravely and courageously for our freedom.
Father God, Your Word tells us in John 15:13, “There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” On this
Memorial Day, we pause as a nation to express our profound gratitude for those who bravely and courageously laid down their lives for our country. We pause as a nation to honor their memory. We pause as a nation to appreciate the gift of freedom their sacrifice allows. On this Memorial Day, we pray for the families who have lost loved ones. We pray for healing from the wounds of war. We pray for peace and the end of all conflict. Today we pray, God Bless America. Amen.
