Monday Afternoon Prayer

Monday Afternoon Prayer
The calendar year has changed,
but God has not.
He is the truth that cannot lie,
and the maker of ways during barren,
desolate seasons.
Lets choose to lay down all things before him, know that he who promises is faithful and true. Gods faithfulness is both who he is and what he does.
This is why we can hope.
Scriptures for the New Year…
Isaiah 26:3
You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.
Deuteronomy 31:8
The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
Psalm 62:7-8
My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is mighty rock, my refuge.
Trust in him at all times, you people;
pour out your hearts to him,
for God is our refuge.
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
