Monday Evening Prayer
In peace I will lie down and sleep,
for you alone, Lord,
make me dwell in safety.
Psalm 4:8
Be still, and know that I am God.
Psalm 46:10
Yes, my soul, find rest in God;
my hope comes from Him.
Psalm 62:5
🙏 Heavenly Father, thank You for today and for Your constant presence. As this day closes and the world quiets, we come before You. We ask to be filled with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Your Word reminds us that You are the source of all hope and that Your perfect love is a comfort through the night. Remind our spirits of the hope found in Your unfailing faithfulness and the promise of eternal life through Christ Jesus. Grant us a restful night’s sleep and wake us tomorrow with a heart full of expectancy for the day ahead, ready to walk in Your ways.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
