Monday Evening Reflection
My favorite part of a person’s story is when they say, “But God.”
Because that’s when everything changes.
It doesn’t erase what happened.
It doesn’t make the loss less painful.
It doesn’t mean the road ahead will be easy.
But it tells me that grief isn’t the end of the story.
Sometimes “But God” is the quietest sentence in our story.
And sometimes, it is the most powerful.
Because that’s where hope begins –
not by denying the pain,
but by believing that God
is still writing the story.
May you find your “But God” moments this week.
