Monday Morning Prayer

Monday Morning Prayer

Blessed
are
those
who
mourn
for
they
will
be
comforted.

Matthew 5:4

Heavenly Father, this morning I pause to pray for those who are grieving. I pray they will turn to you to find comfort. As you have promised, draw near to them so they can rest in your loving arms. As they lean on you, please heal their broken hearts, strengthen them, and blanket them with your peace which passes all understanding. As I desire to be your hands and feet, give me compassionate eyes and ears to see and hear those who are filled with deep sorrow. Create the time in my day to hold space and be witness to their broken heart and provide your comfort in their time of need. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
