Monday Morning Prayer

Monday Morning Prayer

Lord, teach us to love others as You have loved us.

When someone is carrying more than they can bear, make us gentle enough to help shoulder the weight.

When hearts are broken, help us bind wounds with compassion instead of trying to find the perfect words.

Remind us that love is often quiet – a phone call, a meal shared, a listening ear, a hand held in silence.

May those who grieve never feel forgotten and may we reflect Your love by being a quiet presence.

Amen.

This beautiful hymn – Love One Another – reminds us that love is more than a feeling…it is something we choose to live every day. We love by showing up, listening without judgment, sharing one another’s burdens, celebrating one another’s joys and simply being present.

For those who are grieving, these words reminds us that healing often begins with compassionate companionship rather than perfect words. Every act of kindness, every listening ear and every shared tear reflects God’s love. May we each be that quiet source of comfort for someone this week.
