Monday Evening Prayer
Peace I leave with you;
my peace I give you.
I do not give to you
as the world gives.
Do not let your hearts be troubled
and do not be afraid.
John 14:27
* Jesus offers a peace that is different from the world’s peace.
* Jesus’s peace comes from God and is a heavenly peace that surpasses human understanding.
* Jesus’s peace is a deep, abiding peace that comes from trusting Him.
In times of trouble, we can find strength and comfort in Jesus’s words of peace. We can choose to walk in His peace daily, rejecting fear and trusting in His love.
