New Year's Grieving Resolutions - 2024

New Year’s Grieving Resolutions

New Year’s Grieving Resolutions

🤍 I resolve to speak my loved one’s name…keep speaking your loved one’s name. Remember them with family and friends, write about them, recount stories.

🤍 I resolve not to put a time limit on my grief…loving someone means loving them for your lifetime whether they are physically present or not.

🤍 I resolve to embrace my loved one’s values, hopes and dreams…think of one thing that your loved one really cared about and then find a way to make their passion a part of your life.

🤍 I resolve to acknowledge my grief as my own…it is an individual as you are and will take shape in its own unique way.

🤍 I resolve to look for opportunities of remembrance…think of ways to formally remember your loved one. You could plan a walk/run/hike in their honor, create a memorial bench, start a scholarship fund.

I resolve to take you with me into the new year and then every day after that.
