New Year's Grieving Resolutions 1123

New Year’s Grieving Resolutions

New Year’s Grieving Resolutions
* To be mindful of the need for flexibility
* To express your feelings without guilt
* To not place time limits on your grief
* To recognize that your acceptance of support of others allows them the blessing of giving
* To forgive those who say or do that which feels hurtful
* To find some little way each day to begin to reinvest in life
* To acknowledge your grief as your own
* To accept that others may not understand your pain
* To extend to yourself the same grace and patience you would to others
* To continue to speak your loved one’s name, tell your stories and embrace your memories
Resolve to take you your loved one with you in the new year and then every day after that. My wish for you, in the New Year, is for you to shine bright, stand in all the beauty that is yours and continue to love still.
