When you’re grieving, “happier” can feel like a very big word. Sometimes, getting through the day is enough.
Perhaps the quote is less about creating happiness and more about the small ways we can offer love, kindness and comfort to one another. A gentle word. A listening ear. A hug. Simply being present.
Grief can make the world feel heavy. Sometimes, it is the smallest acts of love that help us carry that weight.
