Thursday Thoughts
Grief isn’t holding on to loss.
It’s holding on to love.
That is why it still lives within us.
Remember, my friend.
Grief came to you
because love came first.
Grief is hard.
It only exists where love lived first.
Grief is the echo of love that still lives within us.
We grieve because we love and that love does not disappear when our loved ones die or when life changes.
There is no finish line, no expiration date, no “fixing” what was real and meaningful.
Grief becomes something we learn to carry, sometimes heavy, sometimes lighter, but always sacred.
We do not move on from love.
We move forward with it,
honoring the love that remains.
