We cross paths with people every day.
And none of them wear signs saying:
“I’m grieving.”
“I’m exhausted.”
“I’m carrying more than I can say.”
We rarely know what someone is carrying.
The person beside you in line.
The person sitting quietly nearby.
The person passing you on the sidewalk.
So, when you can, choose kindness.
It may be the only softness they receive today.
