Monday Morning Prayer
There are no words that can help make sense of the unfathomable loss and pain. We are praying for the Camp Mystic community and all those impacted by the tragic floods in Texas. My heart and deepest prayers are with every grieving heart.
Lord, in this time of deep tragedy, we cry out to You on behalf of all those affected by the devastating floods in Texas and the Camp Mystic community. Be near to all those who are enduring the unthinkable. For the families who are facing unimaginable sorrow and devastating news, God hold them close in their anguish. Breathe comfort. Be their anchor in the storm. Blanket every grieving heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Hold the broken, comfort the hurting. Be their Rock, their Refuge, their steady place in the storm. Let Your light shine in the darkness. Let hope rise again. Let hearts know that even in the valley of the shadow of death – You are with us. In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
