Monday Morning Prayer
2 Corinthians 1:3-5
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.
Father God, I come before you this morning in prayer for those who are grieving.
In times of grief & sorrow, You are our comforter.
In times of loneliness, You are our beloved.
In times of need, You are our provider.
I pray for You to wrap Your comforting & loving arms around all those who are grieving and allow them to find hope & rest in Your purest love.
In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
