Monday Morning Prayer
Do you know a loved one who is walking through the inexplicable pain of loss? So many times we can feel like there isn’t much we can say or do to comfort them in their great sorrow, but we can always pray.
Isaiah 41:10 – ‘So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.’
Matthew 11:28 – ‘Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.’
We pray for God’s strength and comfort over you today. Please keep and carry these precious people in their sadness and loss. Cover them with Your wings of love and give their weary hearts rest. Lord, Lift their eyes so they may catch a glimpse of eternity and be comforted by the promise of heaven. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
