Monday Morning Prayer
“Peace I leave with you;
my peace I give you.
I do not give to you
as the world gives.
Do not let your hearts
be troubled and
do not be afraid.”
John 14:27
John 14 continues Jesus’ discussions with His disciples in anticipation of His death and records the promised gift of the Holy Spirit.
Loving Father, thank you that we have peace with You, and have Your perfect peace in our heart. Thank you, Father, that Christ is our Peace, our wonderful peace, whose Holy Spirit is forever dwelling within us. May we share His wonderful peace to all we meet. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
