It leaves a deep, enduring pain and emptiness from your daily routines, to your outlook on life and a struggle to find meaning in the world without your person. Nothing feels the same. Your life has changed. Give yourself grace and remember to meet yourself right where you are. Not where the rest of the world wants or needs you to be. The heavy work of grief begins.
