Monday Morning Prayer – Matthew 11:28-30

Monday Prayers
Grief is heavy and exhausting. Is it possible to find rest during emotional, physical, spiritual or mental suffering? The ideas sounds paradoxical but Jesus beckons us to come find rest in Him.
Matthew 11:28-30
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Heavenly Father, we are so thankful that you invite us to come to you to find rest. You have blessed us with a standing invitation to come to you day or night. Thank you that your door is always open to comfort us with your love and peace.
In Jesus’ name, I pray for all who are burdened and tired to come to you to find rest, to be refreshed and renewed for their weary souls. Amen.
